Leslie K. Tanimura, DDS, MSD
Dr. Tanimura brings a warm, personal approach to patient care. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and the Indiana University pediatric dentistry residency program. Dr. Tanimura also completed a cerebral palsy fellowship and received her master's degree while attending Indiana University. During her years as a faculty member at the University of Kentucky, she attained certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Tanimura is an avid reader and also enjoys baking and knitting.

Robert C. K. Peng, DDS
Dr. Peng is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dentistry and the UCLA pediatric dentistry residency program. He has been a faculty member at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry since 1999. Dr. Peng truly enjoys working with children and can often be found singing or entertaining patients during their treatments. Dr. Peng is married and has two young boys. He enjoys activities such as skiing, biking, traveling, and playing tennis.

 

Patrick T. So, DDS
Dr. Patrick So was born in the Philippines and raised in San Diego. He attended the University of San Diego where he earned his bachelor of science in animal neuroscience and physiology, and his bachelor of arts in communications. Upon completion of his undergraduate education, Dr. So moved to New York where he attended the New York University College of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. So completed a two year pediatric residency at New York University. During his time in New York, Dr. So was awarded multiple honors and also served for two years as the hospital's chief pediatric dental resident. After completing his residency, Dr. So returned home to California. Dr. So continues to be involved with his alma mater's pediatric dental outreach program and has provided care for children in Alaska, Mexico and Tanzania. His areas of professional interest lie in hospital dentistry and early childhood caries. Beyond dentistry, Dr. So enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Richard S. Sobel, DDS
Dr. Richard Sobel has practiced and taught pediatric dentistry since 1970. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and received his specialty training at Harvard University and the Children's Hospital Medical Center, Boston, where he also completed a birth defects fellowship. Dr. Sobel is a former director of the pediatric dentistry residency program at Children's Hospital Oakland and is currently active with the hospital's craniofacial team. Additionally, he is on the faculty of the University of Pacific School of Dentistry and the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry. Dr. Sobel is a past president of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and was a trustee of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He loves to run, travel, dine and cook with his wife.
