Leslie K. Tanimura, DDS, MSD
Dr. Leslie Tanimura brings a warm, personal approach to patient care. She is a graduate of the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry and the Indiana University pediatric dentistry residency program. Dr. Tanimura also completed a cerebral palsy fellowship and received her master's degree while attending Indiana University. During her years as a faculty member at the University of Kentucky, she attained certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She currently serves as an examiner for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the medical staff at Children’s Hospital Oakland. Dr. Tanimura is an avid reader and also enjoys baking and knitting.
Jennifer T. Lo, D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Jennifer Lo, grew up in Hong Kong as well as in Toronto, Canada. She earned her Bachelors of Science at the University of Toronto. Realizing dentistry was her passion, she went on to earn her DMD at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she decided to move to one of her favorite cities in North America, San Francisco, where she completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of the Pacific, Aurthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. After graduation, she went into private practice in the Bay Area. It was at one of the practices where she discovered her passion for Pediatric Dentistry and decided to obtain further training at UCSF pediatric dentistry residency program. Outside of work, Dr. Lo enjoys spending time with her family & friends, going running, biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
Jack C. Yeung, DDS
Dr Jack Yeung received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the UCLA School of Dentistry. He also completed his specialist training in pediatrics dentistry at UCLA where he served as chief resident. Dr. Yeung loves working with children of all ages, from infants to adolescents. He enjoys tailoring the process of creatively tailoring his approach to treating each child and creating a positive dental experience. His goal as a pediatric dentist is to help children and their families establish a solid foundation for excellent oral health through each stage of dental growth and development. Dr Yeung is active in organized dentistry and have served as a trustee in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. When not in the office, he enjoys exploring the great outdoor, backpacking, and unearthing new trails.
Richard S. Sobel, DDS
Dr. Richard Sobel has practiced and taught pediatric dentistry since 1970. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and received his specialty training at Harvard University and the Children's Hospital Medical Center, Boston, where he also completed a birth defects fellowship. Dr. Sobel is a former director of the pediatric dentistry residency program at Children's Hospital Oakland and is currently active with the hospital's craniofacial team. Dr Sobel regularly treats special needs patients at Children’s Hospital Oakland. Additionally, he is on the faculty of the University of Pacific School of Dentistry and the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry. Dr. Sobel is a past president of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and was a trustee of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He loves to run, travel, dine and cook with his wife.
